Tucked amid the tranquil foothills of the Himalayas, Upper Fagu Tea Estate is a living tribute to centuries of tea heritage in Darjeeling. Raised in high altitudes where mountain air is cool and pure, the estate’s microclimate, rich soil, and frequent rains combine to nurture tea bushes of exceptional character.

From its earliest days under British-era cultivation, Upper Fagu has been celebrated for teas that carry floral notes, delicate sweetness, and an aroma reminiscent of wildflowers dancing in the mountain breeze. Our leaves are hand-picked with precision: only the most tender shoots are selected, then thoughtfully withered, rolled, oxidised, and dried under the watchful eye of teasters who respect tradition.
